40:59-5. Market commissioner; duties The market commissioner shall gather data, make investigations and obtain information as to prevailing prices of food-stuffs and shall daily publish in the municipality a fair price list, giving in detail what, in his opinion, as a result of his investigation, prices for foodstuffs should be in such municipality from day to day.
