Library funds

40:54-35. Library funds The governing body of any municipality may appropriate and raise such sum of money as in its judgment may be deemed necessary to aid libraries and reading rooms in serving any such municipality, whether such libraries or reading rooms be located in such municipality or in an adjoining municipality; provided, the person or corporation owning or controlling any library and reading room receiving and accepting such aid shall keep the same open free to the use of the public at such reasonable hours as meets the approval of the governing body of such municipality.
