Form of tests

40:46-48. Form of tests Tests as required by this act may be written, oral, physical or in the form of demonstration or evidence of education or skill, or any combination of these, and shall be of such character as fairly to test and determine the qualifications, fitness and ability of the person tested actually to perform the duties of the position for tenure in which he seeks to qualify.
