Special acts repealed on incorporation; rights thereunder unaffected

40:43-24. Special acts repealed on incorporation; rights thereunder unaffected Any charter or special act in force within any municipality, any portion of which shall be included within such newly created municipality, shall be of no further effect within such newly created municipality, and as to it, shall be deemed to be, from the time of its incorporation, repealed, but, such repeal shall not operate to affect any rights which shall have been acquired under or by said charter or special act.
