40:37-236. Certain expenses replaced by bond issue; limitation In the discretion of the board of chosen freeholders, budget appropriations not exceeding one hundred thousand dollars in aggregate amount for the expenses of the park commission made prior to the establishment of a park, may be replaced by the issuance of bonds or other obligations for park purposes, as provided in section 40:37-235 of this title, and the proceeds of the bonds or other obligations used for that purpose, may be reappropriated for any county purpose.
