Compensation of commissioners; expenses; inclusion in cost of improvement

40:37-216. Compensation of commissioners; expenses; inclusion in cost of improvement The court shall, upon application by the county park commissioners or on its own behalf, fix and determine the compensation to be paid the commissioners so appointed, and allow any other expense necessarily incurred in making any such assessment, all of which shall be paid by the county park commission. The cost and expense of making any assessment for benefits, including the fees of commissioners, may be included in making up the cost for the purpose of the assessment.
