Results canvassed and returned; vote required for adoption

40:33-5. Results canvassed and returned; vote required for adoption The result of the election shall be returned and canvassed in the same manner and at the same time as other elections. If a majority of the votes cast on the question shall be in favor thereof the provisions of this article shall take effect in the county.
