Appropriations and payments of State aid.

40:23-6.43 Appropriations and payments of State aid. 6. There shall be appropriated and paid annually to each county office on aging, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Human Services, an amount equal to one-half of the amount of annual expense of the county office on aging; provided, however, that no county shall receive more than $20,000 in State aid hereunder in any calendar year. Payments shall be made by the State Treasurer, upon certificate of the Commissioner of Human Services and warrant of the Director of the Division of Budget and Accounting, on or before December 31 of each calendar year. This payment shall constitute reimbursement to the county for the State aid portion of the annual expense of each county office on aging during the year in which the payment is made.
