40:20-78. Penalty for clerk's failure to call meeting If the clerk upon receipt of a proper order shall refuse or neglect to call or convene any special meeting of the board, he shall forfeit twenty-five dollars, to be recovered, with costs, in an action in any court of competent jurisdiction, in the name and for the use of the county.
