40:20-11. Method of voting; results returned The ballot of each legal voter who shall desire to vote hereunder as well as for presidential delegates, shall be deposited in the primary box in which he is qualified to vote after his primary ballot shall have been cast. The ballot of every voter who shall not desire to vote in any of the primary boxes, or who is not qualified to vote in any of the primary boxes, shall be placed in the nonpartisan box and counted by the members of the board of registry and election. The ballots in all the primary boxes and in the nonpartisan box, upon the question of the acceptance or rejection of sections 40:20-2 to 40:20-19 of this title shall be counted by the members of the board of registry and election, who shall also ascertain the number of votes in all the boxes in the election district, the number in favor of acceptance, and the number in favor of rejection, and shall place these facts in their return of the result of the election.
