Definitions

4:5-94. Definitions As used in this article: "Division" means the Division of Animal Health. "Department" means the Department of Agriculture. "European fowl pest" means the contagious disease known by that name. "Poultry" includes, chickens, roosters, capons, hens, ducks, geese, turkeys, pigeon and guinea fowl. "Receiving point or station" includes railroad yards or sidings, express stations or other points where live poultry is received for immediate slaughter or any other purpose. Amended by L.1967, c. 175, s. 8, eff. July 25, 1967.
