4:5-49. Marking cattle passing test or declared suspicious All cattle passing or declared suspicious as the result of an official or private tuberculin test shall be marked for identification by an approved metal ear tag furnished by the department or designated by the department and furnished by the owner, except pure breds which may be reported for identification by registration name and number, tattoo or chain lock number. No two animals in one lot shall bear the same number.
