4:5-106.13. Violations; issuance, restoration, revocation or suspension of licenses; hearings The department shall have power to refuse to issue or restore, and to revoke or suspend the license of any person upon due hearing, on proof of violation of any provision of this act or of the rules and regulations adopted pursuant to this act, and shall have the power to require the attendance of witnesses and the production of such books, records and papers as it may desire. A written statement of the charges against such person shall be served upon him at least 10 days before the day set for the hearing. The hearing shall be before the Secretary of Agriculture or a duly authorized representative of the department and the person complained against shall have an opportunity to produce witnesses or other evidence in his behalf, and to confront witnesses against him.
