Failure to pay penalty; commitment

4:23-14. Failure to pay penalty; commitment If any person fails to pay the penalty imposed, together with all costs, the court shall commit him to the common jail of the county wherein such conviction is had for a period not exceeding ninety days or until the penalty and costs are paid.
