4:16-31.2. Canning, drying, freezing, brining of foods; encouraging and promoting The State Agricultural Experiment Station is authorized and directed to encourage and promote the preservation and conservation of food by means of home and community programs of canning, drying, freezing, brining and other suitable processes, to maintain the health of New Jersey families and to conserve the products of victory gardens and commercial farms.
