Marking products to falsely indicate conformity to standard

4:10-4. Marking products to falsely indicate conformity to standard Whenever any standard for the grading or other classification of farm products becomes effective under this chapter, no person thereafter shall mark or label any product or package containing it in such a way as to indicate or to make it appear upon ordinary observation that the product conforms to the standard, unless the product actually does conform to the standard. The secretary may at any time cause such investigations, classifications and tests to be made as he may deem necessary to enforce the provisions of this section.
