3B:3-24 Where a will of a resident is to be probated; effect of failure to probate. 3B:3-24. The will of any individual resident within any county of this State at his death may be admitted to probate in the surrogate's court of the county or in the Superior Court. If the will of any individual resident within the State at his death is probated outside the State, it shall be without effect unless or until probate is granted within the State.
