3B:28-9. N.J.S. 3A:36-1 saved from repeal N.J.S. 3A:36-1 is saved from repeal. This section provides that a widow or widower may recover damages when it is necessary to institute an action to have dower or curtesy assigned or whose right is unfairly assigned. L.1981, c. 405, s. 3B:28-9, eff. May 1, 1982.
