Residue after debts to go to heirs or devisees

3B:22-37. Residue after debts to go to heirs or devisees If full payment of debts and claims is made, and there remains a residue, the residue shall be divided among the heirs of an intestate in the proportions as provided by law, or in case of a will, to the devisees as the will directs.
