N.J.S.A. 39:4-28 — Height; overhead wires

39:4-28. Height; overhead wires No such road building machinery, vehicle, traction engine, steam roller or other apparatus or machinery having a height, including load or equipment or apparatus connected therewith, in excess of fourteen feet shall be operated, driven, propelled or conveyed along or across a public road or highway in which is located overhead wires of a street railway, traction company or electric light or power company at any time, unless employees of the street railway, traction company or electric light or power company are present prepared to superintend the necessary movement or change in the wires, or to make immediate repairs thereof in case of injury thereto.
