39:4-199. Safety zones, signals, guideposts and other structures on state highway; approval by highway commission No safety zones or platforms, commonly called "safety isles" , traffic signal devices, guideposts or any other structures shall be erected, constructed, operated or maintained in, over or upon a state highway, without the permission of the state highway commission first having been obtained.
