39:4-197.10 Qualifications for appointment to unit. 2. No person shall be appointed to or continue to be eligible for participation in the parking enforcement unit for persons with disabilities unless the person: a. Evidences no criminal record as a result of a State criminal history record background check through the State Bureau of Identification in the Division of State Police in the Department of Law and Public Safety; b. Is a resident of the municipality in which the unit is established; and c. Is at least 18 years of age. L.1991, c.442, s.2; amended 2017, c.131, s.160.
