Special pedestrian interval

39:4-117. Special pedestrian interval A special pedestrian interval may be provided when approved by the director at intersections where traffic is controlled by traffic control signals. When a special pedestrian interval is incorporated in the operation of a traffic control signal and signified by means of an approved indication, pedestrians shall cross the roadway only when the indication is illuminated, and vehicles and street cars shall stop and remain standing until the green is shown alone.
