39:3-10.33 Medical review, retesting of certain motor vehicle operators; notice, confirmation to family, certain. 1. a. Whenever a person contacts the New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission requesting that a family member be given a medical review or be retested to determine whether that family member is capable of safely operating a motor vehicle in this State, upon a request by the person who contacted the commission, the commission shall send confirmation that a notice has been sent regarding a medical review or retesting of the family member to the person who contacted the commission. b. Whenever the commission is required to send a subsequent notice regarding a medical review or retesting in order to determine whether such a family member is capable of safely operating a motor vehicle in this State because there was no response to the first such notice, upon a request by the person who contacted the commission, the commission shall send a confirmation of that subsequent notice to the person who originally contacted the commission.
