Appointments; term; reimbursement for expenses

39:2-14. Appointments; term; reimbursement for expenses The members of the panel shall be appointed by the Governor upon recommendations by the director and shall be in such number as the Governor and director shall deem appropriate. In recommending the physician and optometrist members, the director shall seek the advice and recommendations of the Medical Society of New Jersey with respect to the physician members, and the New Jersey Optometric Association with respect to the optometrist member or members. The panel and the members thereof shall serve at the pleasure of the Governor. They shall receive no compensation for their services but shall be reimbursed for the reasonable expenses actually incurred in the performance of their duties as approved by the director.
