38:23B-20. Offenses and penalties Any person who, having obtained a veteran's loan under this act, solicits, applies for, or accepts another such loan, except as specifically authorized in this act, and any person who knowingly and willfully furnishes any false or misleading information for the purpose of obtaining a veteran's loan, or of enabling another to obtain a veteran's loan, under this act, shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) or by imprisonment for not more than three years, or both.
