36:2-83 "Black History Month," February; designated. 1. The month of February of each year is designated as "Black History Month" in the State of New Jersey in recognition of the many accomplishments of Black Americans and their contributions to the history of this nation and State. L.2005, J.R.2, s.1. 36:2-84 New Jersey P.O.W.-M.I.A. Week of Remembrance, April 9 through April 15; designated. 1. The week of April 9th through 15th of each year is designated as New Jersey P.O.W.-M.I.A. Week of Remembrance in order to pay public tribute to the thousands of men and women who have suffered as prisoners of war or who remain missing in action. L.2005, J.R.3, s.1.
