The month of February of each year is designated as "Black History Month" in the State of New Jersey in recognition of the many accomplishments of Black Americans and their contributions to the history of this nation and State. L.2005, J.R.2, s.1. 36:2-84 New Jersey P.O.W.-M.I.A. Week of Remembrance, April 9 through April 15; designated. 1. The week of April 9th through 15th of each year is designated as New Jersey P.O.W.-M.I.A.
