36:2-68. "Child Appreciation Month," May; designated 1. The month of May in each year is designated as "Child Appreciation Month" in New Jersey to recognize the importance of our children's contributions to this State and to the United States and to provide an opportunity for State and local governmentsand the general public to join with all children, families, private organizations and churches to participate appropriately in its observance.
