"Women's Wellness Month" designated

36:2-52. "Women's Wellness Month" designated 1. The month of April in each year is designated "Women's Wellness Month" in the State of New Jersey in order to urge and empower women to take routine and crucial steps necessary to maintain and improve their health, to access information and education about their health and bodies, to schedule routine health check-ups, including pap smears, mammograms, breast examinations and blood cholesterol and bone density screenings, to participate in routine exercise, to maintain a diet based on recommended nutritional guidelines and to utilize information about available health and social services in their communities.
