36:2-116 Issuance of annual proclamation. 2. The Governor is respectfully requested to annually issue a proclamation recognizing September as "Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Awareness Month" in New Jersey and calling upon public officials and the citizens of New Jersey to observe the month with appropriate activities and programs. L.2008, JR4, s.2. 36:2-117 "Blindness Awareness Month," October; designated. 1. October of each year is designated as "Blindness Awareness Month" in New Jersey to increase public awareness about eye disease and eye care and ways to address the rising trend of blindness and severe visual impairment.
