36:2-115 "Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Awareness Month," September; designated. 1. September of each year is designated as "Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Awareness Month" in New Jersey to enable New Jersey to join with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in designating September as Leukemia, Lymphoma, and Myeloma Awareness Month, increase awareness and understanding of blood-related cancers, and encourage participation in voluntary activities to support education programs and the funding of research programs to find a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.
