34:9A-12. Communicable diseases For the purpose of this act the commissioner may through the State Director of Health exercise the powers of a local board or health officer with respect to communicable diseases defined by chapter four of Title 26 of the Revised Statutes. The commissioner shall make such arrangements and agreements with the Department of Health and other interested departments and agencies as will facilitate the processing of notices of cases of communicable diseases in migrant labor camps and expedite the treatment of such cases.
