34:7-16 Additional external inspection; fee. 34:7-16. In addition to the annual internal and external inspection, there may be an external inspection if found necessary of each vessel specified in subsection a. of R.S.34:7-14, which shall be made as nearly as may be at the expiration of 6 months from each annual inspection and for which the owner, lessee or operator shall pay to the Department of Labor a fee of $50. The fees established hereunder pursuant to the amendatory provisions of P.L.2003, c.117 shall be in effect for State fiscal years 2003-04 and 2004-05 and thereafter may be adjusted by the Commissioner of Labor in accordance with fee schedules adopted by regulation. Each vessel insured by an insurance company may also be given an external inspection by a certified inspector.
