34:6-136.14. Unlawfully manufactured or distributed articles or materials (a) Any article or material which is being manufactured in a home in violation of any provisions of this act may be removed by the commissioner and may be retained by him until claimed by the employer. The commissioner shall by registered mail give notice of such removal to the person whose name and address are affixed to the article or material as provided by section thirteen. Unless the article or material so removed is claimed within thirty days thereafter, it may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of. Where the owner or the article or material cannot be determined, unless such article or material removed by the commissioner is claimed within thirty days after such removal, it may be destroyed or otherwise disposed of. (b) It shall be a violation of this act for any person to receive from, handle or convey to others, to sell, offer for sale, to expose for sale or hold in stock any articles or materials that have been manufactured by a home worker, who does not possess a valid home worker's certificate or distributed for manufacture by persons not in possession of a valid permit.
