Definitions.

34:1B-95 Definitions. 3. As used in this act: "Authority" means the New Jersey Economic Development Authority, established pursuant to section 4 of P.L.1974, c.80 (C.34:1B-4). "Commissioner" means the Commissioner of Commerce and Economic Development. "Department" means the Department of Commerce and Economic Development. "Export financing company" means a private corporation or limited liability company incorporated or organized for the purpose of financing the export activities of small or medium-sized businesses. "Limited liability company" means a company organized pursuant to the "New Jersey Limited Liability Company Act," P.L.1993, c.210 (C.42:2B-1 et seq.). "Small or medium-sized business" means a business enterprise, which has its principal place of business in this State, is independently owned and operated as a sole proprietorship, partnership, corporation, or limited liability company with a level of gross income from operations defined by the authority as a small or medium-sized business.
