34:1B-179. Findings, declarations relative to film production assistance 2. The Legislature finds and declares that: a. The film industry spent over $69 million in this State in the year 2000 on a record 664 different projects including 88 feature films; b. The creation of additional incentives to attract film companies to this State will make substantial contributions to the State's continued economic growth and development; c. In order to attract greater investment by film companies in this State, it is important to establish a film production assistance program with sufficient incentives to encourage new film projects and investment in this State.
