34:15-6. Liens for legal services 34:15-6. No claim for legal services or disbursements pertaining to any demand or suit under this chapter shall be an enforceable lien against the amount paid as compensation, unless approved in writing by the court in which the claim is sued upon, or in case of settlement without trial, by the Superior Court, unless notice in writing be given the defendant of such claim, in which event the same shall be a lien against the amount paid as compensation, subject to determination of the amount and approval hereinbefore provided.
