34:11-56.54 Issuance of certificate of registration. 7. Upon receipt of the fee, form and documentation required by section 5 of this act, and upon a finding that the applicant for the certificate of registration has met all of the requirements set forth at section 5 of P.L.1999, c.238 (C.34:11-56.52), the commissioner shall issue a certificate of registration to the contractor. A registration certificate shall be valid for one calendar year from the date of registration. Registrations shall be renewed not less than 30 days before the expiration date of the immediately preceding registration. L.1999,c.238,s.7; amended 2021, c.423, s.3.
