N.J.S.A. 33:1-49 — Purchase of illicit beverage; misdemeanor

33:1-49. Purchase of illicit beverage; misdemeanor No person, except an officer, or other person authorized by and acting pursuant to instructions from such officer, so doing in the course of and for the purpose of enforcing this chapter shall knowingly purchase, receive or procure any illicit beverage. Any person who shall violate this provision shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine of not less than ten dollars and not more than one hundred dollars, or imprisonment for not less than two days and not more than ten days, or both.
