32:8-13. Appropriation; return; disbursement ARTICLE XII. The sum of twenty thousand dollars ($20,000.00), or so much thereof as may be necessary, is hereby specifically appropriated to the Delaware River Joint Toll Bridge Commission, to be used by it, together with a like appropriation made by the commonwealth of Pennsylvania, for the purposes of carrying out the provisions of this compact, except the operation, maintenance, improvement or construction of any new toll bridge over the Delaware river. The appropriation herein made to be taken from the funds of the commission on elimination of toll bridges, and to be returned to that commission within five years after the completion of the first toll bridge constructed, with interest at the rate paid on the bonds issued for the construction of that particular bridge. The moneys herein appropriated shall be disbursed upon requisition of the chairman of the commission presented to the comptroller, and paid by the state treasurer in the usual manner.
