Violation of regulations adopted pursuant to compact; penalty

32:26-13. Violation of regulations adopted pursuant to compact; penalty Any person who shall violate any rule, regulation or code adopted by the Director of the Division of Motor Vehicles pursuant to the Vehicle Equipment Safety Compact shall, upon conviction, suffer and pay a penalty not exceeding $50.00, or suffer imprisonment for a term not exceeding 30 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment, in the discretion of the magistrate before whom such conviction is had.
