Authority conferred upon park commission

32:15-1. Authority conferred upon park commission Palisades Interstate Park Commission shall have the authority and power heretofore conferred upon the board of commissioners of Palisades interstate park, a body politic created pursuant to an act entitled "An act to provide for the selection, location, appropriation and management of certain lands along the Palisades of the Hudson river for an interstate park, and thereby to preserve the scenery of the Palisades," approved March twenty-second, one thousand nine hundred, to lay out, construct and maintain a drive through the Palisades Interstate Park, known as the "Henry Hudson drive," and to lay out, construct and maintain suitable spurs to connect the drive with the Hudson river and top of the Palisades cliffs, with authority to receive and spend for such purpose gifts, contributions and bequests, granted and conferred by the act of April sixteenth, nineteen hundred and nine, chapter one hundred and ten, pamphlet laws page one hundred and seventy-seven, and the act of April eighth, nineteen hundred and ten, chapter one hundred and twenty-four, pamphlet laws page two hundred and eight.
