32:11E-1.1. Public hearing required for Delaware River and Bay Authority project approval The Delaware River and Bay Authority shall not approve any project, other than a crossing, or part thereof without first holding a public hearing on the proposed project. The authority shall cause to be published notice of the public hearing at least 10 days prior to the hearing in at least three newspapers with a daily circulation in Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester and Salem counties. The Delaware River and Bay Authority shall not undertake any project, other than a crossing, to be located in the State of New Jersey or in the Delaware River or Bay, without having first secured legislative authorization and approval of each specific project or part thereof pursuant to New Jersey law.
