Port authority created

32:1-4. Port authority created There is hereby created "The Port of New York Authority" (for brevity hereinafter referred to as the "Port Authority" ), which shall be a body corporate and politic, having the powers and jurisdiction hereinafter enumerated, and such other and additional powers as shall be conferred upon it by the Legislature of either State concurred in by the Legislature of the other, or by Act or Acts of Congress, as hereinafter provided. On and after July 1, 1972, the Port Authority shall be known and designated as "The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey." Amended by L.1972, c. 69, s. 1.
