32:1-146.9. Violations; penalties 2. Any violation in the State of the rules and regulations set forth in section 1 of this act shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $50.00 or imprisonment for not more than 30 days or both. The Superior and municipal court shall have jurisdiction to enforce and collect in summary proceedings any such penalty if the violation occurs within the territorial jurisdiction of the court. The rules of the Supreme Court shall govern the practice and procedure in such proceedings. The institution of a proceeding on Sunday or a holiday shall be no bar to the successful prosecution of the same and any process issued or served on Sunday or a holiday shall be as valid as if issued or served on any other day.
