32:1-145. Counties and municipalities authorized to enter into agreements; disposition of payments Every county, city, village, borough, town, township or other municipality in the Port of New York District aforesaid is hereby authorized and empowered to enter into such agreement or agreements with the port authority to accept the payment or payments which the port authority is hereby authorized and empowered to make. The sums so received by any county, city, village, borough, town, township or other municipality shall be devoted to purposes to which taxes may be applied, unless and until otherwise directed by the law of the state in which such municipality is located.
