30:8-56. Advisory committee on county aid to released prisoners There is hereby established in the Department of Institutions and Agencies an Advisory Committee on County Aid to Released Prisoners which shall act in an advisory capacity to the several boards of chosen freeholders in the formulation of rules and regulations for the administration of this act in the interest of efficiency and uniformity which shall consist of the Director of the Division of Correction and Parole in that department, ex officio, and of four additional members, two of whom shall be members of the board of chosen freeholders of different counties, one of whom shall be the sheriff of a county or the county officer in charge of the county jail and one of whom shall be a county probation officer, who shall be appointed by the Commissioner of Institutions and Agencies to serve without compensation for terms of 1 year.
