30:8-24.1b. Increase of compensation upon recommendation of county sheriff Compensation paid to jailkeepers employed in counties of the second class may on recommendation of the county sheriff, be increased by resolution of the board of chosen freeholders. L.1968, c. 269, s. 2, eff. Sept. 4, 1968. Amended by L.1970, c. 117, s. 2, eff. June 29, 1970.
