Transfer only if consistent with best interests of developmentally disabled person; failure to adjust; transfer

30:6D-21. Transfer only if consistent with best interests of developmentally disabled person; failure to adjust; transfer A transfer shall be made only when consistent with the best interests of the developmentally disabled person. The department shall ensure that a developmentally disabled person who fails to adjust to life in a community residential facility may return to the institution or other facility from which he was transferred or to a more suitable community residential facility.
