30:4D-37. $100 maximum A person eligible for the Hearing Aid Assistance for the Aged and Disabled Program is entitled to receive a payment of up to $100.00 in a calendar year in which a hearing aid is purchased to offset the cost of the hearing aid. For the purposes of this act, "hearing aid" means an ear-level or body-worn electroacoustic instrument for amplifying sound whose basic components are a microphone, amplifier and receiver.
